Some More Information About Us

We started with a simple question: Why is it so hard for rural women to get the health guidance they deserve, when the answers are often already in their kitchens? That question became the foundation of our work.

Our team —> Apostrophe — Believes in connecting two worlds that rarely meet: traditional rural life and practical, usable technology. Just like the symbol we’re named after, we exist to bridge the gap between things that usually stand apart. We build tools that make technology gentler, more human, and actually useful in places where it often feels distant.

Our first project -> Poshan Sakhi, is designed for women who juggle homes, children, fields, and endless responsibilities, usually with little support. The platform helps them track periods, understand pregnancy stages, and get nutrition guidance based on the foods they already have — rice, dal, vegetables, greens, and whatever is locally available. No impossible diets. No confusing medical jargon. No dependence on fast internet. We focus on clarity, simplicity, and dignity. Technology shouldn’t overwhelm; it should support quietly in the background. That’s why our tools are lightweight, regional-language friendly, and shaped around real conversations with real women, ASHA workers, and local communities.

Our mission is straight forward: Give rural women the confidence and knowledge they should have had all along. If we can make even one woman feel more in control of her health — or one child healthier because a mother understood her body better — then the work is worth it.

We’re not here to make noise. We’re here to make something that lasts. Something that feels like it naturally belongs in her world — not forced into it.

That’s Apostrophe.
A small connector making a big difference.
And we’re just getting started.
